This class is an introduction to the world of acting. We will cover voice/breath work, character development, and physical movement. This will be accomplished through exploration of various acting techniques, theater games, improvisation and discussion. You will also be introduced to the fundamentals of the rehearsal process and script analysis.This is going to be an exciting & fun year the only requirements are, the willingness to try new things, and an open mind.
{Come Prepared to Work} Clothing: You should wear loose fitting clothes to every class; clothes in which you can move freely. Avoid wearing tight fitting jeans. - No gum - No eating in class - No listening to iPod or reading materials unrelated to class - Bring all writing or reading materials needed for class - Students may leave class only by permission of instructor Keep rehearsal and performance spaces clean.
